Made from 100% Syrah. Producing one of the great red wines of the world, Hermitage is perhaps its oldest vineyard, dating back over 2000 years. This particular wine comes from thirty-five year old vines and will continue to improve for several more years. The Wine Spectator- "Perfumy, with violet, vanilla and lightly roasted coffee bean aromas giving way to a supple, elegant palate of dark cherry and plum followed by grilled herb and mineral on the finish.
