This Viognier from McManis Family Vineyards in California is a great alternative to Chardonnay. Unlike the huge, high alcohol Viogniers too common in California, this one is well balanced (alcohol 13.5%) with aromas of honey, flowers, and stone fruits. On the palate it has flavors of peaches, honeydew melon, and a citrusy finish. Really delicious and approachable.
