Chinon is located in the Loire Valley region of France and makes reds predominantly from the Cabernet Franc grape. This one is light to medium-bodied, with a mixture of earthiness and brambly fruit flavors. Excellent with food because of its brisk acidity but with tannins soft enough to drink on its own. Pairs very well with tomato-based dishes like pastas.
