Normal 0 Normal 0 Garnacha (Grenache) is probably the second most popular red grape after Tempranillo in Spain, especially in the north.� This one is from the Campo de Borja region and is 100% Garnacha.� It has a rustic quality to it that makes us think of Spain.� Aromas and flavors of black cherry, raspberry, smoke, and hints of chocolate and pepper.� The slightly spicy character of this wine is common amongst Spanish reds.� In the last ten years Spanish Garnacha has become quite popular in the U.S. for reasons like this wine.� This wine, like many Spanish reds, is a great value and is best consumed young. |
