Tasmania, with its cooler climate than mainland Australia, is ideal for lighter whites like this Pinot Gris. 30% of this Pinot Gris was fermented in old oak, with the rest in stainless steel. It was also aged on its lees for 4 months. The result is lush, nuanced Pinot Gris not unlike those produced in Alsace. Aromas of herbs, tangerince, and pear, with loads of fruit on the palate balanced by an appropriate amount of acidity. Not to be missed for lovers of Pinot Gris. |
